Experience:
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in SCADA Automation, Industrial Automation, and Instrumentation systems with a strong focus on Water and Wastewater projects.
- Proven experience in leading and executing SCADA and Instrumentation projects for Water Supply and Wastewater systems across large-scale municipal and infrastructure projects.
- Mandatory experience in execution of at least 2 Water Supply SCADA projects and 2 Wastewater SCADA projects for cities with population exceeding 10 Lakhs.
- Strong expertise in design, development, implementation, and commissioning of SCADA systems, PLCs, RTUs, and automation platforms.
- Hands-on experience in Water Instrumentation systems, control systems, telemetry systems, field instrumentation, and integrated automation solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in managing end-to-end automation lifecycle including engineering, configuration, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization activities.
- Strong exposure to communication protocols including Modbus, DNP3, Ethernet/IP, OPC, and industrial networking systems.
- Experience in integration of SCADA systems with Water Treatment Plants, Wastewater Treatment Plants, pumping stations, reservoirs, and distribution networks.
- Proven capability in leading cross-functional engineering teams, vendors, contractors, and site execution activities for automation and instrumentation projects.
- Strong understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, cybersecurity practices, and quality benchmarks related to automation systems.
- Experience in technical documentation, project coordination, stakeholder management, and operational support for large-scale Water Infrastructure projects.
Requirements:
- Lead the design, engineering, development, implementation, and commissioning of SCADA systems for Water Supply and Wastewater Instrumentation projects.
- Manage end-to-end automation processes ensuring system reliability, operational efficiency, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Drive successful execution of SCADA and Instrumentation projects across Water Treatment Plants, Wastewater Treatment Plants, pumping stations, and distribution systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, and project management teams to ensure seamless integration of automation and instrumentation systems.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for SCADA hardware, software, PLCs, RTUs, telemetry systems, communication networks, and industrial protocols.
- Develop and review automation architecture, control philosophies, instrumentation layouts, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Manage system configuration, integration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance tuning activities for SCADA and control systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis, issue resolution, preventive maintenance planning, and continuous improvement initiatives for automation systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, cybersecurity practices, safety regulations, operational guidelines, and project quality benchmarks.
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, consultants, contractors, and field teams for successful implementation and operational support of automation systems.
- Lead and mentor teams of automation engineers, instrumentation engineers, technicians, and site personnel while driving technical excellence and team capability enhancement.
- Monitor project schedules, resource utilization, execution progress, and technical deliverables to ensure timely project completion.
- Support preparation and review of technical reports, engineering documents, SOPs, testing procedures, and operational manuals.
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies and smart automation solutions within Water and Wastewater infrastructure ecosystems.
- Provide technical support during inspections, audits, customer interactions, and project review meetings.
- Ensure smooth handover of completed systems including documentation, training, operational support, and post-commissioning stabilization activities.
- Maintain effective coordination with internal teams, clients, consultants, municipal authorities, and external stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.
- Stay updated with emerging trends, innovations, and advancements in SCADA Automation, Industrial IoT, Smart Water Management, and instrumentation technologies.

- Successful delivery and commissioning of SCADA and Instrumentation projects within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
